NYC Weather: First Snow Could Fall This Week
New Yorkers could see the season's first snowflakes Thursday or Friday, forecasters say.

NEW YORK — It's beginning to look a lot like winter. New York City could see its first autumn snowfall this week amid a string of chilly days, forecasters say.
A chance of snow will loom from early Thursday evening into late Friday afternoon as the mercury drops into the 30s, according to the National Weather Service.
It's uncertain how much snow may fall, but it could be accompanied by some rain and a high temperature near 39 degrees on Friday, roughly 18 degrees below normal, the weather service says.
