NYC Weather Forecast: 7 Inches Of Snow Possible As Storm Nears

New York City will be under a winter storm watch from Saturday evening through Sunday morning.

NEW YORK, NY — Here's your stern reminder that it's still winter. An approaching storm could drop up to seven inches of snow on New York City Saturday night after a string of warm days, the National Weather Service predicts.

The snow is expected to pile on from 8 p.m. Saturday until around 5 a.m. Sunday. The five boroughs will be under a winter storm watch from Saturday evening through Sunday morning.

The storm will make traveling tough, so make sure you put on some boots before your Saturday night out. Slick roads and limited visibility will also likely make driving dangerous.
