NYC Weather Forecast: New Snowstorm Threatens To Slam City
The storm is expected to blanket the NYC area with six to nine inches of snow just days after a powerful nor'easter hit the city.

NEW YORK, NY — A midweek storm is expected to dump six to nine inches of snow across the New York City area Wednesday, less than a week after a powerful nor'easter battered the city with wind and rain, the latest National Weather Service forecast shows.
The five boroughs will be under a winter storm watch from late Tuesday night through late Wednesday night. The first chance of rain and snow comes Tuesday evening, but flakes are expected to be heaviest around midday Wednesday.
Seven inches are expected to accumulate at Central Park by Thursday morning, while just four inches are likely to hit John F. Kennedy Airport. The storm will make for a rough Wednesday evening commute with limited visibility.

Sunny days with high temperatures around the mid-40s will bookend the storm. The next chance of rain isn't expected until Sunday, the NWS forecast shows. But the weather is taking every chance it gets to remind New Yorkers it's still winter for another two weeks.
