NYC Weather: Forecast Predicts High Of 65 Approaching
A mini heat wave is set to hit New York City during the latter half of the work week.
NEW YORK, NY — New Yorkers should get ready to ditch their winter coats and break out their shades for the latter half of the workweek, as forecasts predict high temperatures could reach 65 degrees.
The National Weather Service predicts a high temperature of 65 degrees on Friday, which is about 20 degrees hotter than any recorded temperature last week. Thursday's high temperature is also expected to hit in the low 60s.
New York City residents should take advantage of the unseasonably warm temperatures while they have the chance. The city's mini heat wave is expected to last only a few days, with high temperatures retreating to the 40s on Sunday.
