NYC Weather Forecast Predicts Stormy Week Ahead
Rain could hit New York City on Monday, Tuesday, Wednesday and Thursday this week, according to the National Weather Service.

NEW YORK, NY — New York City is due for a wet week ahead with National Weather Service forecasts predicting it could rain on six out of the next seven days.
Up to an inch of rain may be dumped on the city to begin the week Monday, according to the National Weather Service. Morning showers could lead to an afternoon and evening thunderstorm, the forecast predicts. Temperatures will hover around the high 60s and in the 70s, which should be consistent with the rest of the week.
The next strong bet for rain will be Thursday. The National Weather Service predicts a 70 percent chance of precipitation with showers and possible thunderstorms likely to hit the city in the afternoon.

Tuesday could see early morning thunderstorms with a 60 percent chance of precipitation and Wednesday night could see late-night showers with a 50 percent chance of rain, according to the National Weather service.

Today: Morning showers with possible afternoon showers and a thunderstorm. Rainfall amounts between a half and three quarters of an inch are possible.
Tonight: Showers and possibly a thunderstorm. Steady temperature around 68. Rainfall amounts between a quarter and half of an inch are possible.
Tuesday: Showers likely and possibly a thunderstorm before 8 a.m., then a chance of showers and thunderstorms between 8 a.m. and noon. Cloudy through mid morning, then gradual clearing, with a high near 79. Winds of 9 to 14 miles-per-hour in the morning could increase up to 15 to 20 miles-per-hour. Winds could gust as high as 30 mph. Chance of precipitation is 60 percent.
Tuesday Night: Mostly clear, with a low around 60.
Wednesday: Mostly sunny, with a high near 73.
Wednesday Night: A 50 percent chance of showers after 2 a.m.
Thursday: Showers likely, with afternoon thunderstorms possible. Mostly cloudy, with a high near 71. Chance of precipitation is 70 percent.
Thursday Night: A 40 percent chance of showers before midnight.
Friday: Sunny, with a high near 74.
Friday Night: Mostly clear, with a low around 62.
Saturday: Mostly sunny, with a high near 77.
Saturday Night: A 30 percent chance of showers. Partly cloudy, with a low around 63.
Sunday: A 30 percent chance of showers and thunderstorms. Partly sunny, with a high near 77.
