NYC Weather Forecast: Snow To Be Followed By 'May-Like Warmth'
Forecasters are watching a winter storm, but expect next week to be like spring.

NEW YORK, NY – Temperatures in the 60s this week might trick you into thinking spring arrived early, but another snow storm is poised to hit the city.
Forecasters are watching a weather system they say will form in the southern states and barrel towards the northeast, bringing with it snow that could hit Saturday.
There are two possible outcomes, both of which could have major implications on weekend holiday travel plans, according to AccuWeather.

“The first scenario is for the storm to track close to the Northeast coast and strengthen quickly, bringing heavy precipitation to much of the Northeast and New England,” said AccuWeather Meteorologist Ryan Adamson.
“The second possibility is that the storm does not strengthen until it is well offshore and takes a track farther to the south."

The National Weather Service is saying there's a 40 percent chance of snow in the city Saturday, though accumulation amounts are not yet known.
But, after it passes, New Yorkers should get ready for a real bout of warmth.
Temperatures are expecting to start reaching into the 60s by Tuesday, bringing what AccuWeather calls "May-like warmth."
