NYC Weather Forecast: Snow Increasingly Likely This Weekend
The National Weather Service says we could see our first snow of the season.

NEW YORK, NY — The first snow of the season is looking more likely as forecasters watch a band of cold weather set to hit New York City Friday night and into Saturday morning.
The National Weather Service says there is a 30 to 40 percent chance of the white stuff as temperatures drop below freezing following the warm front that hit the city this week. Weather.com puts the chances at 20 percent.

The off-and-on rain that we saw on Tuesday is expected to taper off Wednesday morning and, by night time, temperatures will be down to 34 degrees, weather service forecasters expect.

By Thursday, lows will touch the freezing point and dip to the high 20s on Friday.
The National Weather Service says there is a 40 percent chance of snow on Friday night and a 30 percent chance on Saturday before 2 p.m., but it's unclear yet how much could fall – and what accumulation levels will be.
It would be the first snowfall of he season in the city.
