NYC Weather Forecast: Snow, Sleet To Follow Sunny Start To Week

An inch of snow could fall Wednesday morning.

NEW YORK, NY — New York City will likely see some wet, wintry mid-week weather on Wednesday sandwiched by sunny days, the National Weather Service predicts. About an inch of snow is expected to fall before 11 a.m. Wednesday before rain takes over in the afternoon and continues through the evening.

The precipitation comes from a winter storm expected to drop snow and rain across the Northeast and Midwest in the middle of the week, according to AccuWeather.

Less than half an inch of sleet could mix with the rain in the early hours of Thursday morning before the wet weather tapers off.
