NYC Weather Forecast: Steamy Temperatures Here Until The Weekend
You won't want to stay inside for the rest of the week.

NEW YORK, NY — It feels like summer's here more than a month early. New York City will bask in steamy temperatures in the mid-80s until things cool down over the weekend, according to the latest National Weather Service forecast.
A high temperature near 86 degrees will roast the city Wednesday as high pressure sticks around the area's southeast coast, the weather service says.
That temperature is nearly 20 degrees above normal and just four degrees shy of a record — the mercury reached 90 degrees on May 2, 2001.

The five boroughs will be under an air quality health advisory from 11 a.m. to 11 p.m. Wednesday. Officials warn against too much strenuous outdoor activity, especially for young kids and people with diseases such as asthma.
It'll be just as warm Thursday, but clouds will gather as a cold front begins its approach, leading to a chance of showers and thunderstorms in the afternoon, according to the NWS. Similar conditions are expected Friday, with a high near 84 and rain possible mainly after noon.

The weekend will be a bit cooler but still pleasant. Sunshine and highs in the low 70s and upper 60s are expected Saturday and Sunday, the weather service says.
