NYC Weather Forecast: Storms, Fog And More Rain Predicted

NEW YORK, NY – The deluge of rain that has soaked New York City since Tuesday continues Saturday as up to three quarters of an inch is expected to fall with barely a respite all day.

The National Weather Service also warns of thunderstorms after 3 p.m. and patches of fog after noon.

The depressing weekend forecast comes after a torrential storm left a trail of wreckage Tuesday.

Showers are predicted for Sunday with the sun finally forecast to return Monday.

Rain, with thunderstorms also possible after 3pm. Patchy fog after noon. High near 62. East wind 8 to 15 mph. Chance of precipitation is 100%. New rainfall amounts between a half and three quarters of an inch possible.

A chance of showers and thunderstorms. Patchy fog. Otherwise, cloudy, with a low around 62. East wind 5 to 8 mph becoming light and variable. Chance of precipitation is 50%.

A 40 percent chance of showers and thunderstorms. Mostly cloudy, with a high near 80. West wind around 8 mph.

Partly cloudy, with a low around 59. North wind 3 to 7 mph.

Mostly sunny, with a high near 77. Light and variable wind.
