NYC Weather Forecast: Weirdly Warm Temperatures Followed By Rain
Wednesday's high will hit 71 degrees after a foggy morning.

NEW YORK, NY — This February day will feel like summer. Wednesday's high temperature is expected to reach a record-breaking 71 degrees before rain moves into the New York City area, the National Weather Service predicts.
Wednesday could be the warmest Feb. 21 on record — the highest temperature ever recorded on the date was 68 degrees in 1930. Heavy fog is expected to hang over the city until around 10 a.m., limiting visibility on the roads in some areas.
The warm spell won't last long. Temperatures will start dropping once rain moves into the region late Wednesday night and continues through Thursday evening. The latter part of the week will see highs in the mid-40s and mid-50s.

"A few showers are possible this evening as a cold front moves across the region," the National Weather Service said in a statement Wednesday. "The front will stall to the south on Thursday with much colder air moving into the area."
There's a chance of rain throughout the weekend, too, so you'll want to keep the umbrella out.
