NYC Weather: Rain Storms To Hit Area Next 3 Days, Weekend Will Be Dry

NEW YORK CITY — Rain storms continue to be in the forecast for the next three days, then as we approach the weekend the weather will dry out, and the heat will return as temperatures hit near 90.

Tuesday could see scattered showers during the morning, with some downpours possible. Heavy rain will most likely hit the area during late Tuesday into Wednesday morning, according to forecasters.

Wednesday will be the rainiest day of the week, with showers and thunderstorms expected to hit the area in the morning and again just before 2 p.m., according to forecasts.

Chance of rain is at 60%, showers could return between 8 p.m. and 2 a.m. Temperatures will reach a high of 78.

Thursday is still expected to be the last day of bad weather, with showers before 2 p.m. and again during the evening before 8 p.m. Temperatures are expected to hit 82 degrees.

The weekend will bring in dry and sunny skies with all three days expected to reach temperatures in the mid-90s with humidity making it feel over 90.
