NYC Weather: Snow 'Likely' As Wet Weekend Ends

NEW YORK CITY — Cozy up, New Yorkers — snow is "likely" to hit the city soon, forecasters say.

A rainy Sunday could give way overnight to snow to start next week, according to the National Weather Service's forecast.

Rain and snow are "likely" late Sunday into early Monday, the forecast states. But don't except the white stuff to stick — literally — around.

"Little or no snow accumulation expected," the forecast states.

New York City has seen scattered flakes this winter weather season, but no significant snow yet.

That could change starting next week, as both Wednesday and Thursday carry "a chance of rain and snow," according to the forecast.
