NEW YORK CITY — An NYPD detective was arrested on Wednesday is accused of producing ghost guns on Staten Island.

Anthony Sciortino, 35, was arrested at a home within the confines of the 123rd Precinct.

Sciortino faces a slew of charges, including manufacturing a machine gun, manufacturing a rapid-fire modification device, manufacturing a dangerous instrument, multiple counts of failure to report sales/register of firearms and official misconduct, among others.
