NYPD Release Images Of Man Who Shot Jets Player Outside NYC Restaurant: See Photos
He was taken to NYC Health + Hospitals/Bellevue in critical but stable condition.

NEW YORK CITY — Police have release surveillance images of an alleged suspect who shot Jets defensive back Kris Boyd outside a Midtown restaurant on Sunday.
The NYPD released the images early Monday morning. According to police, the suspect is described as a man with medium complexion. He was last seen wearing a black cap, black sweatshirt, black pants and a black book bag.

He was taken to NYC Health + Hospitals/Bellevue in critical but stable condition.
Police did not identify the victim as Boyd, but a law enforcement official familiar with the situation confirmed to The New York Times that the man was Boyd. The newspaper reported the shooting stemmed from a dispute among a small group.

In a prepared statement Sunday afternoon, the Jets said the team was “aware of the situation involving Kris Boyd and will have no further comment at this time.”
Jets linebacker Jermaine Johnson II took to social media, asking his followers to “send prayers to my brother and teammate Kris Boyd and his family.”
“Lord please hold your healing hand over Kris and guide him back to health and safety,” Johnson wrote in the social media post.
An investigation remains ongoing.
