One Killed In Brownsville Shooting, Police Say

One man was killed and another was wounded in a Saturday evening shooting on Mother Gaston Boulevard, police said.

BROWNSVILLE, BROOKLYN — One man was killed and another was wounded in a shooting in Brownsville Saturday evening, police said. Cops responded to the shooting around 6:42 p.m. and found a 19-year-old man was shot at least once in the torso near 903 Mother Gaston Blvd., the NYPD said.

He was taken to Brookdale Hospital, where he was pronounced dead, police said.

The other man was found nearby with a graze wound to his back and taken to the same hospital, police said. He is expected to survive, police said.

The incident is still under investigation and no one has been arrested, the NYPD said. Police have not yet publicly identified the man who was killed.
