NJ Transit, LIRR Delays Force NYPD To Close Penn Station Entrance As Crowds Grow
The entrance on W. 34th St. was closed during Wednesday's evening rush.

MIDTOWN, NY – Police shut down an entrance to Penn Station during Wednesday's commute as major delays left the station crowded.
Amtrak, which operates the station, said signal problems were causing at least 30 minutes delays to Long Island Rail Road trains. NJ Transit reported 45 minute delays.

Amtrak said the closed entrance was an LIRR one on W. 34th Street.
