Person Fatally Struck By Subway Train In Queens

The incident happened near the Parsons Boulevard subway station, Wednesday morning

NEW YORK CITY — A person was fatally struck by a subway train in Queens during the morning rush on Wednesday.

The incident happened near the Parsons Boulevard subway station around 6:15 a.m., officials told PIX11 News.

The individual was pronounced dead at the scene. Additional details of the victim have not been released.

It is not known at this time what led up to the fatal incident.

E, F, M and R trains were running with delays in both directions following the incident. Manhattan-bound trains have since resumed making regular stops.
