Person Of Interest Taken Into Custody In NYC Shooting Of NFL Player
The NYPD released surveillance images of the man shortly after the incident.

NEW YORK CITY — A person of interest has been taken into custody in connection with the shooting of Jets cornerback Kris Boyd in Midtown last month.
The suspect was taken into custody in Buffalo on Monday and will be returned to New York City to face charges. The 20-year-old man has not been formally charged yet.
The NYPD had been searching for the suspect and released surveillance images of the man shortly after the incident.

He was taken to NYC Health + Hospitals/Bellevue in critical but stable condition.

Boyd shared on update on his condition in an Instagram story on Nov. 19.
The cornerback is pictured in a hospital bed with the caption: “God is real, God is powerful!"
"I’m sorry, I have no words at the moment… Just grateful! I’m coming along, starting to breathe on my own now. Sincerely appreciate everyone!"
An investigation remains ongoing. The suspect's identity has not been disclosed.
