Protesters Shut Down Manhattan Bridge Rush Hour Monday
Hundreds of protesters marched Monday to pressure lawmakers to pass an unemployment bill for workers such as freelancers and immigrants.

NEW YORK CITY — Protesters shut down traffic on the Manhattan Bridge during Monday morning’s rush hour.
The march aimed to pressure lawmakers to pass an unemployment program for so-called “excluded workers” such as immigrants, freelancers and cash earners, according to social media footage.
