Rapper Travis Scott Punches Sound Man In NYC Nightclub Fracas: Report
Scott is accused of punching a sound engineer in the face and damaging $12,000 of equipment at a Midtown club, according to a report.

NEW YORK CITY — Rapper Travis Scott went sicko mode during a violent fracas in a New York City nightclub, according to a report.
Scott punched a sound engineer and damaged a $12,000 speaker early Wednesday inside Midtown's Nebula club, the New York Post first reported, citing "police sources."
The rapper's representatives disputed the account and argued it amounted to a misunderstanding.

The report stated Scott had an argument with a 52-year-old man working as a sound engineer. Scott clobbered the man in the face at some point before he ran off in a vehicle heading west on West 41st Street, the report states.
He also argued with and pushed a DJ, the Post reported, along with video of that confrontation.

"Back the f--- up,” Scott can be heard saying in the video.
Scott has not been arrested and remains "at-large," according to the report.
The rapper's representatives told Patch the situation was blown out of proportion.
“While this is clearly a misunderstanding being blown out of proportion by clickbait and misinformation, we are actively working with the venue and law enforcement to resolve and set the record straight," said Mitchell Schuster, Scott's lawyer, in a statement. "We are confident our client will be cleared of any wrongdoing.”
The rapper is widely known for sharing two children with Kylie Jenner, as well as performing in Houston's Astroworld Festival in 2021 where a crowd surge killed 10 people.
