Santa Is Coming To NYC For Christmas: Where To See Him
Hint: there's a certain miracle on 34th Street.
NEW YORK CITY — Kris Kringle won’t just be at Macy’s this Christmas — the real “miracle” is he’ll somehow make appearances all over New York City.
Children will be delighted to find Santa Claus ho, ho, ho-ing almost everywhere in the city during the holiday season. (Except maybe keep them indoors Dec. 10, when SantaCon is in town.)
But if families need some help tracking down Santa, Patch has compiled another by-no-means-comprehensive list of jolly appearances by St. Nick himself.

Macy’s
The film classic “A Miracle On 34th Street” solidified the place of both New York City and Macy’s in Christmas lore.

And, yes, Santa will be back — by reservation only.
“Here’s your chance to visit the busiest man of the season inside our Herald Square store,” the Macy’s Santa reservation site states. “Book your time to join the line—it’s the only way to meet & snap a photo with Santa in person.”
Reservations must be made five days in advance. Click here to do so.
Rockefeller Center
The famed Christmas tree at 30 Rock isn’t the only holiday attraction this season.
Santa Claus himself will be at the Top of the Rock, from Dec. 2 to Dec. 24.
“Top of the Rock ticket purchase is required for entry and photos with Santa are purchased on-site separately,” the website states.
Santa also keeps hours (he’s busy!), so check the website here for both schedule and tickets.
Empire State Building
King Kong, meet Santa Claus.
The iconic Empire State Building has snagged Santa! Families can book to see him in the Observatory on Dec. 4 and Dec. 11.
