NEW YORK CITY — Straphangers had extra time to say "TGIF" as subway delays hit several lines Friday morning.

At least seven subway lines saw slowdowns during the rush hour, according to the MTA.

A disruptive passenger at 42nd Street-Port Authority Bus Terminal prompted delays on A trains headed south, a post by the agency stated.

Q trains ran with delays in both directions after crews removed a train that had its brakes activated near 96th Street station, officials said.

The Q line also saw slowdowns for straphangers headed north because a train needed cleaning at Avenue M, according to a post.

Another brake activation at Jay Street-MetroTech caused delays for A and C trains headed north, a post stated.

M and R trains headed toward Forest Hills ran slow from Roosevelt Avenue to 71st Avenue, officials said. E and F trains also ran with delays near 71st Avenue, a post stated.
