NYC Subway Derailment: How Your Evening Commute Is Affected (Updated)
The A, B, C and D trains are heavily affected.
NEW YORK CITY – The delays of recent weeks seem like minor inconveniences compared to the MTA's subway derailment that forced an evacuation at 125th Street. Here's how your commute is affected, as of 5 p.m. Tuesday:
- A train service will resume between 59th St.-Columbus Circle and 168th St. with local service in each direction.
- In Brooklyn, A trains bound for Lefferts Blvd will run local, while Far Rockaway-bound trains will run express.
- All C train service has been suspended.
- B train service will run between Brighton Beach and 96th St.
- D train service be local between 205th St and 59th St.-Columbus Circle, and normal elsewhere.
"We are working to restore service as soon as possible and determine how this happened. We apologize for this service disruption," the MTA said in a tweet.
