Suspected NYC Park Child Rapist Confessed He Recorded Attack: Report
If convicted of the top charge, Inga faces a maximum sentence of 25 years to life in prison.

NEW YORK CITY — A 25-year-old man who raped a 13-year-old girl at a Queens park last week confessed to authorities that he had recorded the attack after he was taken into custody.
Christian Geovanny Inga-Landi, told police in a statement that “I was nervous at first, then got comfortable and recorded it,” the New York Post reported.
The videotaped statement was played in front of a judge at Queens Criminal Court Wednesday, according to the report.

Inga is facing rape, sex abuse, kidnapping, and robbery charges, among others, prosecutors said.

A 13-year-old boy and girl were at Kissena Park in Flushing at around 3:30 p.m. on June 13 when they were approached by Inga, police said.
The man then pulled out a knife and forced the 13-year-olds into a wooded area, where he took their cell phones and tied them up, police said.
Inga then raped the girl before fleeing the scene, police said.
Inga is being held without bail, according to online court records. His next court appearance is July 1.
