Teen Arrested, Attacked Woman With Baseball Bat On NYC Street: NYPD
The victim, sustained injuries to her leg and swelling to her head, was transported to a local hospital, police said.

NEW YORK CITY — A 14-year-boy has been arrested and charged for attacking a 58-year-old woman with a baseball bat as she down a Manhattan street last month, police said.
He has been charged with assault with Intent to cause serious physical injury and second degree assault, police said.
On June 25, at 12:08 p.m., the 58-year-old woman was walking in front of 37 Monroe Street when two men approached her and began striking her multiples with a bat, police said.

The suspects then fled the scene on foot, traveling east on Madison Street, police said.
The victim sustained injuries to her leg and swelling to her head, was transported to New York Presbyterian, Lower Manhattan in stable condition.

It is not known if the other individual involved in the attack has been apprehended or charged.
