These NYC Universities Are Among The Best In The World
U.S. News & World Report ranked the best universities in the world. See which NYC schools made the list.

NEW YORK, NY – The best universities in the world have been ranked in a new list by U.S. News & World Report and a New York City school has graduated in eighth place.
Columbia University is NYC's only higher education facility in the top 10, though the United States leads the way claiming the top four spots on the list. The city has five schools on the list of 1,250 universities across 74 countries.

To come up with the rankings, U.S. News first created a pool of universities using various sources, including a global reputation survey. The rankings were then calculated using 13 indicators and weights that U.S. News chose to measure global research performance. (You can see the full methodology here.)
