Trump Says He Would 'Look At A Pardon' For Mayor Adams
Trump made the comments while speaking to reporters at Mar-a-Lago on Monday.
NEW YORK CITY —President-elect Donald Trump on Monday made it known that he could look at issuing a pardon for New York City Mayor Eric Adams.
Trump made the comments while speaking to reporters at Mar-a-Lago, eluding that Adams' ongoing corruption case is politically motivated.
[Adams] went against what was happening with the migrants coming in," Trump said. “And a few months later, he got indicted. So yeah, I would certainly look at a pardon."

Adams faces one count of wire fraud, one count of conspiracy, two counts of solicitation of a contribution from a foreign national and one count of bribery, Patch previously reported.
Adams received benefits and perks from Turkish officials, including free and discounted airline tickets and hotel accommodations, according to an unsealed indictment.

The perks were worth more than $100,000, prosecutors said. Adams has pleaded not guilty to all charges.
"I think that he was treated pretty unfairly,” Trump added.
When asked by reporters as recently as Sunday, Adams said he is “not communicating with the president about a pardon," according to a CNBC report.
