NEW YORK CITY — New Yorkers ran hot over the weekend — and, no, we aren't just talking about the marathon.

Distinctly spring-like, 70-plus degree temperatures Sunday broke and tied single-day records in at three climate sites in New York and one in Connecticut, according to the National Weather Service.

In the City, Central Park saw 75-degree weather, a temperature that broke the old record by 1 degree, and La Guardia Airport tied its 74-degree record, according to forecasters.

And it appears fall's chill will stay away for one more day.

"One more day of above-average temperatures are expected on Monday," the National Weather Service's New York office tweeted.

But the pleasant weather won't last — remember, this is still November.
