VIDEO: Man Sucker Punches Woman During Brooklyn Pride

BROOKLYN, NY — A banker has been accused of being the suspect who assaulted a woman during Brooklyn Pride in Park Slope over the weekend in a now viral video.
In the video posted on X (formerly Twitter), it depicts a woman falling to the ground after being hit in the face by the man.
He then walks away, saying to an onlooker, “She f**king threw shit all over me.”

The video only shows the punch being thrown, not the events leading up to the assault.

A police spokesperson told Patch that there are no complaint reports on file for the incident but disclosed they are aware of the video.
Multiple media reports claim the man in question is Jonathan Kaye, who works at investment bank Moelis & Company.
Moelis released a statement on X saying: “We have become aware that one of our employees was involved in a serious incident in Brooklyn on June 8. “We take this matter very seriously and are conducting an investigation.”
The company did not name Kaye in their statement.
