New York Loses To Hawaii In Little League World Series
The New York team from Staten Island took its first loss to Hawaii on Wednesday.

NEW YORK, NY — Staten Island's Little League World Series team was shut out Wednesday night in its first loss of the tournament.
Hawaii beat the Mid-Island squad 10-0 to earn a spot in Saturday's U.S. championship game. Ace pitching from Aukai Kea led the Honolulu team to victory — he threw six strikeouts in 4.1 innings. Staten Island's Mid-Atlantic champions committed three errors and were held to just one hit.
But they're not out of the tournament just yet. A victory over the Southeast champs from Peachtree City, Georgia on Thursday would land the team in a rematch with Hawaii for the U.S. championship this weekend.
