NEW YORK, NY – It's going to be a long, cold and snowy winter in New York City – at least if you believe the forecasters. AccuWeather's long-term prediction is for a brutal season to hit the Northeast.
And it comes on the heels of a Farmers' Almanac forecast that said exactly the same thing.
New York City will see more snow than normal during the 2017-18 winter season, AccuWeather.com says – 6 inches more over the year. The city sees an average of 25.1 inches a year fall in Central Park, according to the website Current Results.
