Woman Killed After Being Struck By Wrong-Way Driver In Manhattan
The van driver remained at the scene and has not been charged yet.

NEW YORK CITY — A 27-year-old woman was fatally struck by a wrong-way driver in Manhattan on Thursday, police said.
The incident happened near Morton Street and Seventh Avenue around 8:30 a.m.
The woman was crossing the street when she was struck by a 2020 GMC van, police said.

According to police, the driver had pulled out of a nearby garage and drove on the wrong way on the one-way street before striking the woman.
The 27-year-old was taken to Bellevue Hospital, where she pronounced dead.
