Woman Killed By SUV Driver In NYC Identified As ‘Marvelous Mrs. Maisel’ Actor
Police formally identified the victim on Thursday.
NEW YORK CITY — A 60-year-old woman, struck and killed by an SUV in Midtown earlier in the week, has been identified as an actor who had appeared in shows like Amazon’s “The Marvelous Mrs. Maisel”
Police on Thursday announced that the victim in the crash had been identified as Wendy Davis, an actress who went by the screen name Wenne Alton Davis.
Davis was hit by a black 2023 Cadillac XT6 as she was crossing the street at West 53 Street and Broadway on Dec. 8 around 8:54 p.m., police said.

The 60-year-old woman suffered head and body trauma following the crash. She was taken to Mount Sinai West, where she was later pronounced dead.
The driver of the Cadillac XT6 remained on scene and was not arrested. No charges have been filed as of Thursday afternoon.

Davis' acting credits include roles in the 2011 film “Shame" and goes back to 2004 with “New Amsterdam” and “Blindspot."
