• Felony arrest made at Thruway stop near Clifton Springs (fingerlakes1.com) — A 34-year-old Newark resident was arrested Tuesday afternoon at the Thruway Exit 42 park-and-ride lot on felony charges stemming from an earlier incident in Clifton Springs. Deputies say he was wanted on a warrant and is now being held in Ontario County Jail pending arraignment, following allegations that include aggravated criminal contempt and endangering the welfare of a child.
