Two men are accused of drunken driving in connection with separate incidents, according to Clarkstown police.
Michael Cobb, 24, of West Nyack, is accused of driving while intoxicated, a misdemeanor, following his being stopped by police on College Avenue in Nanuet at about 4:40 p.m. on Friday. Police said Cobb failed a field sobriety test and later failed a chemical breath test for alcohol at police headquarters in New City. He was released pending an appearance in Clarkstown Town Court in New City on July 12.
Police also said Kevin Moran, 53, of Pearl River is accused of driving while intoxicated, a misdemeanor, after being stopped by police in a College Avenue parking lot at 10 p.m. Saturday. Moran failed a field sobriety test and refused to take a chemical breath test for alcohol, police said. Moran was arraigned in Town Court and was released on $685 bail pending a hearing on Wednesday.
