Stony Point Man Faces Felony Charge In Domestic Violence Incident

It's one of three charges the 29-year-old faces.

STONY POINT, NY — Justin Patyi, a 29-year-old from Stony Point, faces three charges connected to a domestic violence incident, Stony Point police said.

He was placed under arrest at 10:07 a.m. Tuesday following an investigation into a domestic dispute on Walter Drive.

Police said he applied pressure around the victim’s neck causing them to have difficulty breathing and damaged an iPad.

He was charged with

  • Criminal Mischief 3rd (E Felony)
  • Criminal Obstruction of Breathing (Misdemeanor)
  • Harassment 2nd (Violation)

He was processed, arraigned, and released on an appearance ticket.
