For the last weekend in June, anyone can fish New York State waters for free, according to Clarkstown Town Clerk David Carlucci.
Carlucci, whose office at Town Hall in New City issues fising licenses, said no license will be required on June 26-27.
"So, whether you're a first-time fisherman or a seasoned angler, please take advantage of New York State's free fishing days and the many fishing spots throughout our state," said Carlucci. "Better yet, why not test your fishing skills out at the picturesque fishing spots right here in Clarkstown?"
