NEW HYDE PARK, NY — One New Hyde Park customer will start Memorial Day Weekend with some extra sunshine.
A $50,000 winning Powerball ticket for Wednesday's drawing was purchased at the 7-Eleven store at 1599 Hillside Avenue in New Hyde Park, the New York Lottery announced.
The ticket is one out of two winning-third prize winning tickets, as the other was sold at 170th Street Grocery at 160 East 170th Street in the Bronx.

The winning numbers for the Powerball drawing are: 12-21-44-50-58 and the Powerball is 26.
Players can securely check their tickets on the New York Lottery app. The winning numbers for the Powerball game are drawn from a field of one to 69. The Powerball number is drawn from a separate field one to of 26. The Powerball drawing is televised every Monday, Wednesday and Saturday at 11 p.m.
