Meyer Joins Montauk Group

Bridget Meyer, a nationally recognized treasury expert who authored the banking industry’s new global billing code standards, has joined The Montauk Group LLC as Product Manager of Bank Relationship Management Services. At Montauk, Ms. Meyer is responsible for the continuing development of services, technologies and standards, including the firm’s proprietary BankScore ^TM Global Bank Fees and Rates Index. The Montauk Group helps U.S. and international businesses proactively manage their banking relationships in order to optimize fees, rates and account structuring for maximum yield on liquidity.

Ms. Meyer spent the past decade developing, facilitating, and promoting the Association for Financial Professionals’ (AFP) Service Codes Accredited Provider Program, which is designed to increase standardization in bank fee reporting. The AFP program managed by Ms. Meyer helps companies identify banks that have demonstrated a commitment to helping customers meet their bank relationship management needs.

Ms. Meyer began her career with the Financial Management Service of the U.S. Treasury Department. While at the Treasury, she reorganized the bank billing process for the IRS lockbox program; published chapter 3000 of the Treasury Financial Manual, Volume V, for government lockbox depositories; and assisted in the development of the first-ever online Federal Tax Payment System.
