The New Hyde Park Bluedevils faced the South Shore Chiefs on Sunday in a No. 1 vs No. 2 matchup after getting shutout in the opener.

The Bluedevils erupted with a 19 to 10 victory in game two and extended their first place lead in the division to five points over the Chiefs.

Michael Greene led the attack having four hits including a home run and scoring twice. Ray Close had two hits, (back to back home runs with Greene), Niko Rullo scored a run, Liam Gallagher (2 hits-2 RBI's), Kyle Cajigas (2 hits, 3 runs scored, RBI), Doug Obidienzo (2 hits, 3 runs scored, 2 RBI's), John Hayes (2 hits, 3 runs scored, 2 RBI's), Dylan Savarese ( 2 walks, run scored, RBI), Anthony Pomara (Hit-RBI), Matt Gorman (hit, run scored, 2 RBI's), Mike Thornton (run scored, 2 RBI's), Vincent Balletta (RBI, run scored).

The New Hyde Park Bluedevils record now stands at 16-2 and lead the division with 50 points.
