New Hyde Park Crime Blotter: Stolen Wedding Band, Groceries and Bras
Third Precinct police responded to the following calls September 24 – 30 in New Hyde Park.

The following information was supplied by the Nassau County Police Department Third Precinct. A criminal charge is only an accusation, and does not indicate convictions.
New Hyde Park
April 2: money was reportedly stolen from a location on Gilford Avenue between 8 a.m. and 4 p.m. Additional funds were also reportedly stolen between 2 and 3 p.m. on April 10.
July 15: a watch was reported missing at 3003 New Hyde Park Road in North New Hyde Park.
Sept. 23: a brown wallet with cash and credit cards was reported missing from a location on Park Avenue at 8 p.m.
Sept. 24: assorted groceries were stolen from a supermarket on Hillside Avenue at 5:40 p.m.
Sept. 24: a cell phone was reportedly stolen from 1111 Marcus Ave. at 6:15 p.m.
Sept. 25: a gold wedding band was stolen from a location on Crest Road at 1:20 p.m.
Sept. 28: assorted clothing, boots, sunglasses and a pocketbook with credit cards were reported missing from a location on North Second Street between 11 p.m. on Sept. 28 and 7 a.m. on Sept. 29.
Sept. 28: Victoria's Secret bra were reported stolen from a store on Union Turnpike at 1:40 p.m.
Garden City Park
Sept. 26: a rear window to an apartment on First Street was found broken at 4:35 p.m.
