Woman Robbed Of Purse While Walking In New Hyde Park
Her purse contained several credit cards.

A woman was robbed of her purse while she was walking in New Hyde Park on Sunday, July 23, police say.
According to authorities, the 55-year-old woman was walking near the 200-block of Central Boulevard at 9:42 a.m. when a man approached her from behind and grabbed her handbag, which contained a wallet, several credit cards and cash.
The robber fled on foot and was last seen running on New Hyde Park Road.

No injuries were reported.
Police described the robber as black, 6 feet tall, with a stocky build, and wearing a white t-shirt, black basketball shorts and dark sneakers.
