1 Killed In Early Morning Hutchinson River Parkway Crash
The southbound lanes of the Hutch remained closed in New Rochelle throughout the morning commute.
NEW ROCHELLE, NY — A motorist was killed in an early morning single-car crash on the Hutchinson River Parkway.
The crash happened shortly before 3 a.m. when a vehicle traveling southbound went off the road and struck an electrical utility box south of Wilmot Road in New Rochelle, according to Westchester County police.
The driver was pronounced dead at the scene. Both lanes of the southbound Hutch remained closed between Wilmot Road and Mill Road throughout the morning rush hour.
