Armed Home Invasion Robbery, 2 Assailants Made Off With A High-End Clothing Collection

NEW ROCHELLE, NY — Residents of a Westchester home are safe, following a terrifying early morning home invasion robbery.

The New Rochelle Police Department is investigating the burglary that happened shortly after midnight on Wednesday at an apartment on Fountain Place. Cops say two suspects entered the occupied apartment, displayed a handgun, and stole high-end clothing. There were residents home at the time, some of whom were asleep, according to police.

The victims told police that the two men entered the apartment, brandished a handgun, and went to a bedroom where they targeted a collection of high-end clothing.

During the robbery, one resident was restrained by the suspects, but police said no injuries were reported.

"The department is committed to ensuring the safety of our community and holding those responsible for this crime accountable," NRPD said in a statement.
