WESTCHESTER COUNTY, NY — Ridge Hill has just announced some big changes to its directory of stores.
The ongoing redevelopment is bringing upgrades to the public and entertainment space, but management said the moves are already attracting new brands.
As revitalization efforts continue at Westchester County’s largest outdoor shopping center, Ridge Hill officials say that new retail leasing activity is also ramping up.

On Wednesday, the shopping center's ownership announced Dick’s Sporting Goods (Dick’s) and Sky Zone, formerly Rockin’ Jump, are expanding their existing footprints, while LensCrafters and Sunglass Hut plan to open new stores this fall.
"We’re so excited for Dick’s and Sky Zone to double down on their investment at Ridge Hill and continue growing with us," North American Properties' Morgan Liesenfelt said. "Our team is equally as thrilled about the additions of LensCrafters and Sunglass Hut. We have been working to add more popular lifestyle brands to the merchandising mix, and both meet that standard."

The largest sporting goods retailer in the U.S. is increasing its store size at Ridge Hill from 50,000 to 76,000 square feet and remodeling the space as a flagship, next-gen Dick’s location. The new layout, set to be complete by the holiday shopping season, will feature a dedicated team sports section offering baseball, softball, soccer, football, lacrosse, and hockey gear that promises to deliver a one-stop shop.
The new Dick's concept will also feature a "House of Cleats," a 360-degree view of over 400 athlete choices for cleats across all sports, along with an expanded premium athletic footwear selection. The expanded store will have golf hitting bays with TrackMan technology and a multi-sport cage for athletes to test new products.
Sky Zone is expanding its Ridge Hill footprint by 7,200 square feet to accommodate new attractions such as a "Warrior Course," "Air Court," slides, and more private party rooms. These additions are set to debut by the end of this year.
Dick’s and Sky Zone are both located on the property’s north end surrounding Park Plaza. This area is a key part of Ridge Hill’s ongoing redevelopment and is currently being converted into a family-friendly activity zone, replacing the former fountain with seating, green space, and a kids’ play area. It will also feature more space for food and beverage businesses to add patios that spill out into the plaza.
In October, LensCrafters is opening a 3,140-square-foot store across from Banana Republic and Uniqlo.
Sunglass Hut will be opening in mid-October. The 886-square-foot space will be located between Pandora and the planned Shake Shack, just off the expanded Town Square.
Other new businesses expected to open this year include Cantina, Bee Bubble Tea and D1 Training. Additionally, Bath & Body Works is being relocated next to Loft and will open in its new space later this month.
