NEW ROCHELLE, NY — New Rochelle's holiday tradition is back (in a new location), and it's a perfect blend of convenience, festive fun and plenty of seasonal spirit.

The City of New Rochelle announced that its Fifth Annual Holiday Market will open in New Roc City on Black Friday (Nov. 28), featuring over 60 local vendors, with the majority of them being minority- and women-owned businesses (MWBEs). The city says that the move from the train station makes it possible for "shoppers to get out of the winter cold," and "enjoy the lively, activated space full of family-friendly retail offerings and other seasonal activities."

"We're thrilled to once again bring together our business community and residents for the annual New Rochelle Holiday Market," New Rochelle Mayor Yadira Ramos-Herbert said. "This year marks an exciting new chapter of holiday enjoyment in the New Rochelle chapter as we host the event for the first time at New Roc City — one of our community's most vibrant destinations. It's inspiring to see this dynamic landmark of our City space come alive with local vendors, holiday cheer, and the spirit of connection that defines New Rochelle. As we look ahead to 2026, we remain committed to expanding opportunities that support small businesses and create inclusive, engaging spaces for all."

The market will feature local vendors such as Gaelles French Pastries, Mom to Jax handmade candles, and favorite The Humble Bumble bookstore. Hungry guests will be able to enjoy regularly rotating culinary options from food & beverage vendors, representing local restaurants.
