Fired Worker Used Access To Amazon Prime Account To Steal Thousands From Former Employer: Police
The owners of Milton's Point Provisions in Rye noticed something amiss, and investigators say the trail led back to a Mamaroneck woman.

RYE, NY — When dismissing a worker, most employers will make sure to get the keys to the shop back, but changing passwords to the business accounts might be just as important.
At the end of October, the owners of Milton Point Provisions, located on Milton Road in the City of Rye, filed a police report about unauthorized charges on their Amazon Prime business account.
Rye detectives reviewed the order history for that Amazon Prime business account and discovered unauthorized purchases were made by an ex-employee. The employee was later identified as 37-year-old Susan Marie Siciliano, of Mamaroneck, according to police.

The victims told investigators that Siciliano had previously been employed by them, but was terminated in January. Siciliano had access to the business account while she was employed, but has not been authorized to use the account since she was fired, according to police.

Detectives said the unauthorized purchases included gift cards, candy, clothing, home and hygiene supplies. Over 30 purchases were made from late September through late October. The total cost of the unauthorized purchases was approximately $4,319.86, according to investigators.
