Mount Vernon Primary Election Day Is Here: What You Need To Know
Democratic candidates are vying for mayor and city council.

MOUNT VERNON, NY — The final chance to vote in the Democratic primary will take place Tuesday in the city of Mount Vernon as candidates for mayor and council members seek a chance to be on their party's ballot line in November.
Who's on the ballot:
Mayoral race: Andre D. Wallace, Shawyn Patterson-Howard

Council Member race (vote for 2): Lauren S. Carter, Axel Ebermann, Derrick Thompson, Jaevon Boxhill

In-person voting:
Primary Day voting takes place on June 27, from 6 a.m. - 9 p.m. Check the Westchester County Polling Place Lookup.
Absentee voting:
Absentee ballots must be postmarked by June 27 or taken to the Westchester County Board of Elections by June 27. A mailed-in absentee ballot must be received by the local board of elections no later than July 4.
