New Rochelle To Offer Free Parking On Small Business Saturday
To support the city's small businesses, there will be free 2-hour parking throughout New Rochelle, from 9 a.m. to 9 p.m. on Saturday.
NEW ROCHELLE, NY — For Small Business Saturday, which takes place on Nov. 25 this year, the city of New Rochelle will be offering free 2-hour parking throughout the city.
Originally founded by American Express in 2010, and co-sponsored by the Small Business Administration since 2011, Small Business Saturday has become a day to celebrate and support small businesses and all they do for local communities. It has become an important part of small businesses' busiest shopping season of the year.
In order to promote and support the city's small businesses, there will be free 2-hour parking throughout New Rochelle, from 9 a.m. - 9 p.m. at on-street metered parking and in the following municipal lots and garages:

- Lawn Ave.
- Library South
- North Avenue @ the I-95 Thruway
- Prospect St.
- Union Ave.
- New Roc Garage
- New Rochelle Transit Center
- Skyline Garage
Normal parking rules will be back in effect on Sunday, Nov. 26.
Note: Permit-only lots, including the Davenport Parking Lot and the Sickles Ave. Parking Lot, are excluded.
